Now's your chance to enter to win a FLS summer Surf Camp tour! Eligible participants could win 1 of 3 great prizes. In order to be eligible for this sweepstakes you must submit an essay following the guidelines included below, along with your full name, country of origin and an email address where we can contact you if you are a prize winner.

Participants are eligible to win one of the following prizes:

Grand prize:

• 3 week stay at the FLS Surf Camp at Marymount College in sunny Southern California! Prize includes tuition and twin-room dormitory accommodation.*
• A custom FLS surfboard.

2nd prize:

• A custom FLS surfboard.

3rd prize:

• An Apple iPod Nano MP3 player, with custom engraving.

Contestants must submit an essay on the topic “Why I Want to Surf in Los Angeles”.

All submitted essays must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• Essays must be between 300 – 500 words in length.
• Essays must be in English.
• Essays must follow the topic ‘Why I Want to Surf in Los Angeles’.
• Essays must be written by the contestant and not a friend or family member.
• Essays must be submitted as an electronic file in a Word document or other standard word processing format.

Essays will be judged using the following criteria:

• Providing a strong response to essay prompt (Why I Want to Surf in Los Angeles).
• Creativity and originality.
• Correct use of English grammar and vocabulary.
• Organization, structure and consistency of tone.

Essays submission deadline is April 21, 2010.

Winning essays will be selected from all valid entries by April 30, 2010.

*In order to be eligible for the Grand Prize, participants must be a U.S. resident or have a valid U.S. tourist visa.

There is one prize available at each level. Odds of winning vary based on total number of sweepstakes participants.
