Hip-Hop Dance Camp
Fisher College
Boston, Massachusetts

America is the birthplace of Hip-Hop, a cultural movement that has swept the world in a few short decades. As an urban-based dance movement, hip-hop has a major presence in the Boston cultural scene. Boston is the home of such popular dance crews as Status Quo and offers a rich environment and inspiration for dancers and entertainers of all types.

Students in our program practice in small classes, and work with highly qualified instructors to learn the latest moves. Participants will receive a brief primer on the culture of hip-hop and work on various styles of the genre, such as breaking, popping and locking, and krumping. At the end of the program, dancers will perform for a DVD souvenir of their experience!

Accommodation is provided in the Fisher College dormitories, just blocks away from Boston’s theater district and a short walk from the posh neighborhood of Beacon Hill and the fashionable shopping district of Newbury Street. To round out the camp, comprehensive English lessons are provided each morning in our modern facility adjacent to the university.
